Meet John Ovrom

Transition With Confidence.

I specialize in developing roadmaps for business owners anticipating a transition. Together, we define success and develop solutions and establish a plan of action to achieve those results.

Specifically I help business owners:
• Develop and Execute Transition Strategies
• Engineer Value
• Establish Sustainability & Long Term Plans
• Negotiate & Oversee the Sale of the Business

As a serial entrepreneur, I personally understand the day-to-day challenges of running your business. I’ve been the owner of large and small companies with 1-50 employees. I understand the stress of cash flow, the need to make payroll, the lows of being sued, even when I was right, and paying the taxman who is a terrible partner. It’s hard enough to work 60+ hours a week in your business, attend to family obligations and have some balance in life, but then to add a transaction of your own business to the mix is very difficult.

Which is where my business, Exit Consulting Group, comes in.

After closing my business, I realized the need for a service provider who could step into the business, develop a strategic plan to accomplish goals and then manage the transition. Since then, I have helped parents transfer ownership to the next generation, owners sell to key employees, establish Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP), partners buying in or selling out, outside sales transactions, and long term exit planning.

My passion is to create lasting value for customers through creating unique solutions to business challenges. Results driven, I focus my energies on creating the opportunity to achieve your goal.

Specialties: Business Medic, Business Development and Acquisitions, Money Raising, Finance Reporting, Operational Improvements, Problem Solving, Strategic Thinking, and Team Building.

From start up to selling your business, I can help build value, make more money and work less or your money back.
