Presentation by St. Louis (Jamey Edgerton) and St. Charles (Greg Prestemon) economic development offices regarding the community impact they have.  The bulk of the presentation will be on the support that they offer to businesses as they start, grow, and acquire businesses.  There will also be a round table exercise to help the participants with hands-no, practical knowledge of the tools presented.


Learning Objectives:

  • Gain an understanding the regional development resources available (capital, consulting, etc.) to existing and new business owners for the start up or acquisition of a company.
  • Understand the impact that regional economic development partners have.
  • Discuss the plethora of programs that are available and the contacts by region to get to the correct person.
