The Benefits of a Solid Network: Join the EPI Chapter Network

According to a recent study, 80% of professionals find networking essential to their career success. A strong professional network can foster connections in your industry, introduce you to potential clients, and provide you with the resources and education to advance your expertise. The EPI Chapter Network offers CEPAs and others in the exit planning industry a national network of like-minded professionals.

Learn how the EPI Chapter Network delivers transformational experiences to exit planning advisors with a new global curriculum and meeting structure.

What is the EPI Chapter Network?

The EPI Chapter Network is comprised of a group of local advisors dedicated to changing the outcome for middle market owners looking to grow, transition, or exit their businesses.

The EPI Chapter Network creates a forum where the local community of professional advisors can collaborate and address the unique needs of their community. Chapters develop educational programs for business owners and professional advisors that build awareness and better prepare an owner for the successful exit of their business. The purpose of the EPI Chapter Network is to create, encourage, and foster the adoption of best practices in the exit planning profession. Chapters promote the common business interests of business advisors engaged in exit planning.

A New Global Curriculum

Currently, Exit Planning Institute has 17 chapters in the EPI Chapter Network, with more being added each year. These chapters host monthly meetings, share best practices, and advance the skillset of exit planning advisors.

A new element for 2022 will be the introduction of a Global Curriculum for our chapters. We have taken some of the best aspects from successful chapters and events over the years and rolled it into an extensive curriculum to ensure chapters across the globe experience the same transformational information with their local flair.

Standardizing the Chapter curriculum also allows for uniform education surrounding a successful exit. Each chapter will host three dedicated case study meetings, four best practices discussions, two social events, one keynote address, and three meetings with topics of their choice.

Introducing: Case Study Learning

The case study meetings were introduced this year. Case studies allow advisors to complete practical applications of exit planning with other professionals in their region. Research shows that case study learning fosters more collaboration, knowledge retention, and professional growth. In these meetings, chapters across the entire network will reference the same case study, provided by EPI. The topics covered in these case study meetings will be used to guide the conversations in the Best Practice meetings throughout the course of the year.

Expanding the EPI Chapter Network

The EPI Chapter Network has chapters across the country. If there is not a Chapter located in your region, explore the current chapter network through virtual meetings! Check out our entire calendar of events to join an upcoming meeting.
