Family Dynamics & Coaching: Creating

Greater Value in our Family Businesses

CONEJO VALLEY CHAPTER EVENT

Family Dynamics & Coaching: Creating Greater Value in our Family Businesses

While a successful multi-generation family business can create a lasting legacy that offers tremendous wealth-generating potential, the reality is the overwhelming majority of family-owned and operated companies fail to succeed from one generation to the next. Only around 30% of all family businesses in the U.S. successfully transition from their 1st to 2nd generation, and the odds for success continue to decline significantly with every generation that follows. So what can we do to increase the success of these family businesses that are often described as not only the oldest model of economic organization in the U.S. but also the most important?

During this engaging virtual workshop, we’re going to review some powerful tools and inspiring real-life examples of how to unlock the wealth trapped in family businesses. We’ll hear from a family business psychologist and management consultant about the myriad of challenges family businesses face and the value creation strategies they use to overcome them. The COO of a 3rd-generation family business will also join the panel to share what they’re doing to scale their business and drive enterprise value for the family, their leadership, and the customers they serve nationwide.

*PLEASE NOTE: This meeting will utilize the Zoom Breakout Rooms feature. After registering for the event, you will receive a Zoom Link from MemberExperience@beyondcepa.com.  Please ensure you save this to your calendar to access the meeting.  If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within 15 minutes, please look in your Spam and Clutter mailboxes.
