Strategies and Vehicles

A broad overview of various charitable vehicles, including: private foundations, donor advised funds, endowments, support organizations, charitable reminder trusts, and charitable lead trusts. The pros and cons of various vehicles will be illustrated through case studies. The discussion will also include charitable strategies that maximize tax savings, including gifting appreciated assets, “bunching,” and IRA charitable rollover.
