Overcoming 3 Key Challenges To Growth

Overcoming 3 Key Challenges To Growth

Throughout the last year and a half, businesses of all sizes have faced enormous challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. While the complexity of COVID is not yet behind us, many businesses have adapted and are now looking forward. In thinking particularly about privately held, small and middle market companies, our chapter recognizes how important strategic growth has been and will continue to be going forward.

During this month’s event we will unpack 3 key challenges to growth in an interactive workshop led by growth expert Jose Palomino, founder and CEO of Value Prop, a system focused on helping owners grow revenue.

3 Key Challenges that we will focus on:

  1. Lack of a Strategic Vision
  2. Dealing with Margin Pressure
  3. Attracting and Keeping Great People

Learning Objectives:

  • Interactive Workshop: A forum for business owners, key employees, and advisors to work through business case studies and scenarios.
  • Challenge #1 Strategic Vision: How to best define the “Why” for your business (and you) and how that clarity can impact your business’s performance.
  • Challenge #2 Margins: Many small and middle-market companies have seen margin pressure from their largest customers. Learn how to ensure that both your top-line and bottom-line considerations are weighed appropriately.
  • Challenge #3 Human Capital: Many companies struggle with attracting and hiring talent. In addition to hiring, most companies could benefit from re-examining the roles and responsibilities of key employees. Last but not least, we will discuss the delicate balance between overinvesting and underinvesting in key areas like sale.

Materials will be provided, and you will leave with at least  strategic ideas that you can put into action immediately.
