Retirement Life Planning –

Beyond The Financials

ST. LOUIS METRO VIRTUAL CHAPTER EVENT

Retirement Life Planning -
Beyond The Financials

Most enter retirement with a great deal of excitement but also with a healthy dose of anxiety.  Those who do any planning, focus exclusively on the financial aspects, which are critical but far from sufficient to provide them with the retirement they have worked so hard to deserve.  Retirement life planning, beyond the financials, helps pre- and post-retirees think about and plan for the challenges they may face and the opportunities that may come their way.  It also provides them with an approach to “practicing retirement” while still working and a framework to answer the question, “When should I retire?”

Learning Objective:

  • Ensure EPI attendees understand the importance of retirement life planning
  • Introduce EPI attendees to the concepts and tools of retirement life planning
  • Provide resources that will help them help their clients in this area
  • Enable attendees to envision further differentiating them in the marketplace by bringing retirement life planning to their clients

EXIT PLANNING IS GOOD BUSINESS STRATEGY

The EPI Local Chapter is different than other groups because it brings together a diverse group of professionals from a wide range of specialties that can naturally work collaboratively on exit planning, succession planning, value growth, transaction or any engagement from both sides of the equation. The chapter meets regularly to network, reconnect, grow knowledge, and sharpen their skills with a common goal: Change the outcome for transitioning business owners. Make plans to join us for future events and connect with the local leadership by visiting www.EPIStLouis.org.
