  • The attendee will understand the difference between NET and GROSS sale proceeds and how that makes a big difference in funding the business owner’s retirement
  • How to calculate the business owner’s “Freedom Point” so the owner knows how much the business needs to sell for, rather than accepting what he/she can get when selling.
  • What if a business owner gets to his/her Freedom Point before he/she is ready to exit? The attendee will learn the ways a business owner can reduce risk until exit.

Meet Mark. C. Hegstrom.

Mark Hegstrom is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor with Business Owner Succession Strategies (BOSS) and a managing partner at Waterfront Financial Group LLC.

Mark helps business owners to plan for what may be their single largest lifetime transaction: the transfer of their business to transition into retirement. He helps business owners to assess personal preparedness, financial readiness to exit, and business attractiveness.  With this information, he creates written & actionable Exit Plans.

Mark is an avid golfer and a lifetime Rotarian. He is currently serving as President of the Exit Planning Institute Twin Cities Chapter. He has given thousands of presentations and is a dynamic and enthusiastic speaker.
