NASHVILLE CHAPTER
The Nashville Chapter of the Exit Planning Institute is a group of local advisors dedicated to changing the outcome for business owners looking to grow, transition, or exit their businesses.

Chapter Purpose: The purpose of the EPI Nashville Chapter is to create a forum where the local community of professional advisors can collaborate to address the unique needs of the local community; develop educational programs for business owners and professional advisors to build awareness and better prepare an owner for the successful exit of their business; develop, encourage and foster the adoption of best practices for the exit planning profession; and promote the common business interests of those business advisors engaged in the profession of exit planning.

2025 TENNESSEE STATE OF OWNER READINESS™
Survey results gathered by Exit Planning Institute show that business owners in Tennessee are trending younger, with Gen X and Millennials together making up more than half of all respondents. More than half of the respondents also received some form of formal exit planning education, which is higher than Tennessee’s 2017 results, which were only at 27%. Other interesting insights emerge, as reflected in the 2025 results, highlighting the unique energy and perspectives of Tennessee business owners. As the landscape of exit planning continues to evolve in Tennessee, it provides new opportunities for advisors, business owners, and the market itself.
