DESIGNING WORKPLACE BENEFITS AS A STRATEGIC DRIVER OF ENTERPRISE VALUE AND OWNER READINESS
Many business owners view employee benefits as a cost center rather than a value driver. This session reframes workplace benefits as a strategic lever that strengthens enterprise value by improving talent attraction, retention, and operational stability. From a CEPA perspective, we will connect benefits design directly to key value drivers - particularly human capital, recurring performance, and transferable culture - to enhance owner readiness and exit outcomes.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand how workplace benefits programs influence enterprise value through talent retention and productivity
- Identify gaps in current benefits that create owner dependence or key-person risk
- Align benefits strategy with value drivers such as scalability, culture, and workforce stability
- Recognize how benefits design supports continuity and attractiveness to buyers or successors
- Integrate benefits planning into a broader exit and owner-readiness strategy
