JOSHUA GOODRIDGE
Joshua Goodridge has over sixteen years of financial services experience and serves as Financial Advisor and Branch Manager of Raymond James at Peoples Bank. He is president of Peoples Financial Services, a subsidiary of Peoples Bank.
Joshua has been married to his wife, Trisha, for over 26 years, and together they have four children: Eleanor, River, Keiran, and Ezra. When he isn’t helping clients solve life’s biggest financial puzzles, he enjoys playing the drums, watching movies, discussing current musical artists with his kids, and seeking out new and exciting culinary experiences with Trisha. His son, Keiran, is deeply devoted to musical performance as a percussionist and drum-line leader and Joshua supports the St. James Red Regiment High School Marching band by pulling trailers to competitions, cooking for the kids, and anything else they may need during the marching band season. Beginning January 2025 Joshua also proudly serves on the Board of Directors for his family’s hometown of the last ten years—beautiful St James, Missouri. He is honored to help promote chamber member businesses in St James and the surrounding communities.
As a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC) he primarily works with high net worth individuals and families as well as owners of successful, closely held businesses that need guidance on asset management, tax planning, business exit planning, and estate planning.
As a Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP) he helps provide clarity and certainty to those in the final years of their career who want to make sure they fully prepared for the retirement transition. For those already enjoying retirement, he can help create a retirement income strategy that addresses social security planning, health care, long-term care planning, longevity, and legacy planning while maximizing tax-efficiency through a rigorous tax-planning process.
As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA) he acts as an expert collaborator and connector, understanding that exit planning involves teamwork across various disciplines. As an educator and practitioner, he motivates and empowers business owners to proactively engage in exit planning. He goes beyond the traditional notion of consultant, playing a multifaceted role essential for achieving significant business exits.
As a former small business owner, he is equipped to understand the needs of other small business owners. He understands the challenges entrepreneurs face and can use that experience to help others better prepare for their financial futures. In his role as a financial advisor, he's uniquely positioned to see clients through these transitions to the other side, ensuring they have a successful personal and financial plan for their next act in life.
