KRISTINA ERNST
Kris Ernst joined Crump Life Insurance Services in 2025 as an External Insurance Consultant responsible for delivering life insurance, long term care/linked benefits, and disability insurance products to fit her clients’ needs in MN, SD, ND, MI, IN and OH. She provides point-of-sale support, strategic case design, ongoing sales education, and support to Edward Jones financial advisors, branch team members, and their clients.
With over 33 years of experience in financial services, Kris most recently served as a Regional Vice President at a financial services company, where she worked with Edward Jones financial advisors in Michigan to identify client and insurance solutions. She has also worked as a Wealth Management Consultant for an insurance partnership firm, supporting Edward Jones financial professionals and their clients in multiple southeastern states. Additionally, Kris was a Life Insurance Consultant for a national life insurance company supporting Edward Jones financial advisors. Kris is FINRA Series 6 and 63, life, annuities, and health insurance licensed and has earned her CEPA and CLTC designations. She resides in Okemos, Michigan.
Kris has four adult children, one grandchild and a Cavapoo named Milo. Kris is a proud ARMY mom with 3 of her children enlisted and one of them currently deployed overseas. She enjoys boating, kayaking, fishing, and gardening and is a big fan of the Detroit Lions and all things MSU. Go Green!
Kris has been passionate about protection strategies using life Insurance since she delivered her first death benefit check to the surviving wife and young children of a business owner, she met door knocking in Detroit as a 20-year-old new life agent, that she insured a few months prior. Kris was strongly impacted by this experience, and it set her on her life’s career path when she saw firsthand how life insurance can help take away the financial devastation for loved ones left behind and it can ease their burdens and suffering during the most difficult time in their lives.
Three decades later, Kris remains just as passionate about protecting clients loved ones and their legacy as well as expertly diving into all the additional wealth transfer and living benefits that life insurance strategies have to offer and exploring how life insurance may fit into a clients well diversified financial plan. Helping clients and advisors along the journey of meeting clients’ needs through discovery and education with exceptional customer service, a focus on education and a servant’s heart is where Kris shines.
It continues to be a great honor for Kris to have partnered with Edward Jones branches for the last 14 years and she looks forward to many more years to come.
