MARIO MONTIEL
Coming from a background comprised of military service and a humble social status, I learned the value of comradery and how to appreciate the people around me regardless of the roads they walked before theirs crossed my own. Starting in 1995, I served within the U.S. Army and had the honor of working within the 10th Mountain Division in Fort Drum and the 12th Aviation Brigade in Wiesbaden, Germany. While I have since retired from military service, I continue to work closely with veterans through SOVAH and carry with me that passion for our brave service members.
The values and ethics from my days of active duty continue to set my course in my career as a financial advisor. I don't just want to be your advisor; I want to walk beside you as you navigate your life's greatest milestones and celebrate as you reach them! I not only want to know what you value in life – but I want to know the why behind every goal so I can better understand your individual journey and take whatever strides I can to help you reach your next step.
As for what I value most? I am a proud father of two, a new grandfather, and the loving husband to an amazing woman. I sincerely love my career and truly treasure the connections I've made with my community, my clients and those within my team. Away from work, I try to find my feet off the beaten path. I enjoy indulging my adventurous side by traveling with my family, exploring alongside my faithful dog, challenging the trails on my mountain bike or spending a moment walking the green of a golf course. I try to take in the world around me and appreciate the moments spent with those most important in my life.
Whether it's serving alongside my brothers and sisters in arms or working with my team to help ensure my clients meet their goals, I understand that our greatest asset is the comradery we share in those around us.
