Melanie is an alumna of the University of Michigan, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Italian in 2008. Beyond her professional achievements, she is a winter sports enthusiast - she is an avid skier and was formerly a member of the US Figure Skating Team. Melanie resides in Connecticut with her husband and three children.
