Corporate Acquisition Team Experience
Served on corporate acquisition teams for two strategic buyers, including full P&L responsibility for a $175 million automotive segment at Koch-owned Molex. This buyer's perspective on due diligence now shapes how I prepare business owners for what acquirers actually evaluate.
Private Equity Recapitalization Partner
Achieved C-suite equity partnership through a private equity recapitalization at approximately 8x EBITDA. This experience provided direct insight into how deal structure, terms, and timing affect outcomes for selling owners.
Operational Turnaround and Stabilization
Served as the CEO of a $60-Million fleet vehicle remarketing company. Stabilized the business and team, self-implemented EOS, reorganized the financials, upgraded marketing including implementing a new CRM. As a result, the owner decided to step back into the role and continue to operate the business instead of exiting.
Vistage Group Chair
Leads two Vistage groups in Tampa, Florida, one exclusively for business owners, and one for the key executives and likely successors of those owners.
