SCOTT FARMER
Scott began his career in the financial services industry in 1987. During his career he left the financial services industry for 10 years when he and his wife bought, ran and sold PeachState Automotive, a Goodyear automotive services facility. Scott and his wife Lisa spent 27 years in Atlanta but relocated back to Tennessee in 2013. In October of 2016 Scott joined Wells Fargo Advisors which lead to him being a founding member of Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Heartland Financial Consulting Group currently manages over $1 Billion, as of 1-8-2025, in trusted client assets. As a true Financial Advisor, Scott utilizes his experience and training in serving and providing holistic solutions for families and business owners.
Active in the community, Scott has served and/or been involved with many local philanthropic boards and is currently the Board President of the East Tennessee Wine Society. Heartland Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors actively supports East TN Children’s Hospital, PJ Parkinson’s Foundation, Autism and Boys and Girls Club to name a few.

Scott has a passion for wine and enjoys sharing his knowledge through wine tasting and sharing with friends. He also enjoys collecting and tinkering with vintage watches. Scott and his wife Lisa live in the Rocky Hill neighborhood in Knoxville. They enjoy cards, hosting dinners and spending time with friends. They are proud parents of two grown children and are doting Grandparents to a grandson, along with two children and three additional grandchildren they lovingly consider part of their family.
