SCOTT KUEHL
Scott Kuehl (pronounced KEEL) is Founder and CEO of Strong Tower Group. Scott is also a trusted CEO coach, Certified EOS® Implementer and Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA™).
Throughout Scott’s career, from advising start-ups to the Fortune 100, he has influenced the performance of over 100 top brands — and the leaders who lead them.
Scott inspires high-capacity leaders to see around corners and proceed with courage to fully live out their life purpose. At age 26, Scott founded and built what became a Top-100 US and a Top-25 Twin Cities B2B marketing agency, serving Fortune 100 and tech companies. For over a decade, Scott served as President and Executive Creative Director before exiting in 2007.
Next, Scott pivoted and became a partner in an architecture and construction firm for nearly a decade. After three years, and with no prior industry experience, he was named President and CEO. The company climbed back from the recession to make the Inc. 5000 list three consecutive years as one of America’s fastest growing private companies, whereupon Scott exited in 2017.
Next, Scott enjoyed an 18-month interim leadership assignment with the Halftime Institute, the leading authority for teaching, coaching and connecting high-capacity leaders to a second half of significance. It was there he discovered his desire to coach entrepreneurial leaders – holistically. Today, Scott focuses on coming alongside business owners who desire balance in their life and transformation in their business — as well as in their marriage, family, relationships and faith.
Scott is a uniquely experienced EOS® Implementer and Official EOS Franchisee. Since first implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System® in 2014 as a CEO, he has served on both sides of the table — first as a client-side Visionary and next as a Certified EOS® Implementer.
An active member of YPO, he serves on the YPO Christian Fellowship Group board. Scott’s leadership and coaching credentials include programs from YPO, Thayer Leader Development Group at West Point, CBMC Leadership Institute, FMI Center for Strategic Leadership, EOS Worldwide, Professional Christian Coaching Institute, and Halftime Institute Fellows Program. He completed a BFA from Minnesota State University at Mankato, and a mini-MBA from University of St. Thomas at Opus College of Business. Scott is affiliated with TTI Success Insights as a Value Added Associate. He is also a Wiley Five Behaviors Authorized Partner. Scott and the coaches at Strong Tower Group provide breakthrough assessments and proven tools to impact the lives of leaders, their teams, and their organizations.
Scott has been married to his best friend, Tami, for over 30 years. They live in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area of Minnesota. They enjoy the blessing of having grown children including a daughter, two sons, and their spouses.
