SCOTT SCROGIN
Scott Scrogin serves as the Strategic Initiatives Director on the IT Nation team at ConnectWise. He executes projects which drive success for IT entrepreneurs by aligning growth mindsets, facilitating CEO peer groups, and creating thought leadership for business transitions. He leads quarterly IT Nation Grow events which educate owners to plan, prepare, and succeed in business transitions. The Grow community includes owners, M&A advisors, and other subject matter experts.
Scott's work experience includes small, mid-sized, and Fortune 100 companies, plus higher education, and a nonprofit. He has been the first employee in a start-up, taught at a university, served as the president a small business, and led teams. These experiences – along with his CEPA designation, MBA, engineering degree, and a passion for applied learning – provide a unique foundation for helping leaders build their legacies.
Additionally, Scott is an advocate for mental health and wellness focused on the workplace and IT professionals. He is a Certified Peer Support Specialist for mental health and certified in Mental Health First Aid. He has spoken to over 1,800 entrepreneurs to help decrease stigma, improve awareness, and increase action. Personally, Scott has managed bipolar disorder for over 30 years.
Scott and his wife, Tara, live in Omaha, Nebraska where they enjoy great food, fitness, sports, travel, and their Havanese Mojo.
