SEAN ROBERTSON
Dr. Sean Robertson is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and the Founder of Tactical Succession (TS).
He is the author of two books and more than 25 articles published in Canadian national and provincial journals on the subject matter of succession and business valuation.
Sean achieved a strategic and successful exit, which was the first business sold in the brokerage he built and operated for 10 years.
Sean’s inquiry, process, experience, and evidence-driven approach to successions began in the profession of dentistry and expanded into the medical profession. He is a Faculty member at the University of Toronto, where he has written and taught the business of dentistry curriculum for Canada’s premier dental school. He has also taught business curriculum at McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry.
His career evolved as his intellectual property and thought leadership became sought after in succession navigation for founders and business owners in optometry, the manufacturing industry, the retail industry, and the trades.
He has spoken regionally, provincially, and nationally as both an advisor and informant for the five major Canadian banks and a multitude of professional associations on the subject matter of succession execution and business valuation.
Sean’s greatest capability lies in distillation of complexity, emotional intelligence, and negotiation; three pillars of succession execution.
