STUART MCCONNACHIE
Helping business owners and executives make better decisions when the stakes are high
You didn’t build what you have by following scripts.
The entrepreneurs and executives I work with have taken real risks, carried responsibility for others, and created meaningful success. At a certain point, the challenge isn’t how to grow—it’s deciding what truly matters next.
How much risk should I still be carrying?
How do I turn business value into a retirement that actually works?
How do I make decisions that respect my family, values, and future?
These aren’t spreadsheet questions. They’re judgment calls.
I’m a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, and I work primarily with incorporated business owners and senior professionals navigating complexity—growth, transition, succession planning, and life beyond the business. My role isn’t to push products or chase trends; it’s to bring perspective, structure, and sound judgment to decisions that carry long term consequences.
Before any planning conversation begins, I focus on understanding what you’ve built, who depends on you, and what “enough” truly looks like. From there, we build a coordinated financial plan that aligns investments, cash flow, business considerations, insurance, and estate planning—working closely with your accountant, lawyer, and other trusted professionals to ensure everything fits together.
Why clients choose to work with me
I bring more than 15 years of experience working with business owners through pivotal transitions, supported by CFP® designation, CEPA®, and CIM® designations. I’ve also built my own practice from the ground up, which shapes how I think about risk, responsibility, and decision making.
Clients value a calm, direct approach—especially when choices involve trade-offs, competing priorities, or family dynamics.
Let’s start with a conversation
If you’re beginning to think about taking risk off the table or ensuring your success supports the life you want beyond work, I’m always open to a thoughtful, no pressure conversation.
Most financial decisions aren’t about finding the “right” answer—they’re about making thoughtful trade-offs. My role is to help clients decide with intention.
