TODD MILLER
Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community.
At Edward Jones, we strive to make sure clients feel heard, and that we understand their unique story. We also work to help clients understand the investment world in terms they can relate to.
Fresh out of high school, I enlisted in the Army National Guard to help my country and my community. From then on, I worked diligently to offer my assistance whenever I could, from volunteering for every opportunity when my community was in need during tornados, snowstorms, hurricanes and even securing the communities around Boston after the marathon bombing. I even volunteered for two tours of duty for Operation Iraqi Freedom and had the honor of serving with some of the greatest men and women I have ever known.
From there, I went to college and got my master's degree in chemistry focusing my research on renewable energy and fuel cells. After graduating, I worked at the Army Futures Command Combat Capabilities Development Command at the Soldier Center. Where I worked primarily on improving the chemical and biological defense capabilities of our armed forces.
During my years at the Army Futures Command, I was responsible for the budget and expenses of several programs. I monitored, tracked and conducted experiments, where I was also responsible for the financial cost of the experiments, labor hours and the financial health of the programs. Each program required planning several years in advance and detailed plans were developed to ensure proper budgeting, and that experiments and prototyping were delivered on time. My experience at Army Futures Command developed my background for detail oriented long-term planning with a focus in finances.
Today, I am married to an amazing wife and father of two amazing daughters who inspire me every day. I try to spend as much time together and I share in as many interests as I can with them; hopefully, they will enjoy bee keeping, and fixing cars with me as they grow.
I pride myself on my work ethic and providing the best service possible. Message me on LinkedIn or call my Lexington, MA, office to see if we can help your long-term financial goals a reality.
