DEMARCUS BOWDEN
Who I Am:
I’ve spent 18 years in the financial industry helping high-performing individuals—like professional athletes, executives and business owners—build financial strategies as dynamic as their lives. But this isn’t just about managing money—it’s about aligning your wealth with your purpose, passions and legacy.
As a former college athlete and a family-first guy, I understand the pressure, unpredictability and opportunity that come with success. That’s why I approach my practice like a team sport—where your goals are the game plan, and I help you execute every play.
What Makes My Practice Different:
You’re not just getting a financial advisor—you’re gaining a quarterback for your financial life. I partner with professionals across multiple disciplines—CPAs, attorneys, agents, valuation experts, investment bankers and more—to provide a comprehensive service. It’s built for people like you who don’t have time for guesswork and deserve more than siloed advice.
We believe preparation beats repair—so we meet regularly, stay proactive and keep your team aligned. Everything we do is designed to support your lifestyle, your ambitions and the long-term legacy you’re building.
Having earned the CEPA® and CFP® certifications, I focus on helping clients navigate complex transitions—whether that’s a liquidity event, exit planning or career changes—so you can move forward with clarity and control.
A Few Things I Value:
• Collaboration Over Competition: Your advisors should be working together, not against each other.
• Real Relationships: We talk life, not just markets.
• Legacy and Lifestyle: Wealth isn’t the end goal—it’s a tool to support what (and who) matters most.
• Confidentiality and Trust: You’ll never have to question where my loyalty lies.
Beyond the Office:
I’m proud to serve on the board of The Snow Approach, an organization dedicated to improving life for individuals with brain change. At home, my wife and our three kids are my daily reminder of why legacy matters. And when I’m not working, you’ll find me on a golf course or talking hoops with anyone who’ll listen—I was born and raised in Chapel Hill and played collegiate basketball.
