HOMER RAMIREZ

Homer is a senior vice president in Wealth Management at the Raymond James Frisco branch office. As a financial advisor, Homer believes deeply in the importance of understanding the individual both from a personal and emotional perspective in addition to understanding the numbers. With a relationship rooted in education and transparency, he believes that by helping educate his clients on what risks they face and the strategies available, his clients can make better decisions for their family wealth.
Homer’s typical clients have been distinctively effective at creating and obtaining wealth, and face many challenges related to preserving that wealth throughout their lives and for future generations. His approach to wealth management includes retirement income planning, tax and estate planning, risk management and helping business owners grow and exit their businesses.
Homer believes that money serves a purpose, and his purpose is his family. He enjoys sharing stories about family with his clients and meeting his client's family members. Part of his educational process is helping both the parents and the children of his clients. Whether it’s teaching college kids about saving or helping elderly parents with issues related to longevity planning, Homer helps his client’s family members where they are in life.
Homer has worked as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch, New York Life and most recently JP Morgan before joining Raymond James. He is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and has the CPWA® and CEPA® designations bringing value to his successful families and business owner clients. He is a member of the Investment and Wealth Institute and the Dallas Estate Planning Council.
When he isn’t working with clients, Homer enjoys spending time outdoors golfing, hiking, hunting, and fishing. He is a devout member of his church St. Francis of Assisi in Frisco. He and his wife Kasey have 4 children, Rowan, Lyla, Hudson and Harrison.
