ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Meet Andrew Barksdale:
Guiding companies and business owners in corporate transactions throughout the Southeast, Andrew Barksdale represents clients in a variety of business sales, mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, divestitures, and consolidations. Andrew has advised financial and strategic buyers and sellers in successful acquisitions and exits across a range of commercial industries, including manufacturing, professional services, construction, industrial and consumer products, technology, food services and agriculture, and healthcare.
In addition to handling M&A transactions, Andrew acts as outside general counsel to small and middle market companies and advises clients in the formation and organization of business entities, trademark filings and intellectual property protection, corporate governance, tax efficient reorganizations, and the preparation and negotiation of a variety of business contracts, including employment, service, licensing, lease, and supply agreements.
Andrew takes a hands-on approach with his clients and works to thoroughly understand their businesses, enabling him to tailor his approach and create solutions that fit each client’s particular goals and circumstances. Andrew leverages a decade of experience to help solve his clients’ problems and provide steady, proactive, and trustworthy counsel.
Meet Tyler Biringer:
Tyler joined VRA Partners in 2014. He provides investment banking services to middle-market companies, private equity firms and diversified corporations across all of VRA’s sectors of focus with specific expertise in technology, tech-enabled business services and healthcare.
Prior to joining the firm, Tyler worked as a Management Consultant in KPMG's Advisory Practice focusing on enterprise transformation in the financial services industry. During his time at KPMG, he assisted clients in successfully executing large-scale strategic initiatives focused in technology, data strategy and process improvement.
Tyler received two BBA degrees from the University of Georgia.
Meet Tyler McCrary:
Tyler rejoined VRA Partners in 2018. He provides investment banking services to middle-market companies, private equity firms and diversified corporations across all VRA’s sectors of focus with specific expertise advising consumer and industrial companies.
Prior to returning to the firm, Tyler worked as the Head of Finance & Operations for Mashburn, LLC, a high-growth lifestyle brand. During his time at Mashburn, he led the finance, accounting, HR and distribution center teams for the company. As part of his role at Mashburn, Tyler was instrumental in leading all strategic planning initiatives, including the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System®. Tyler began his career working at VRA Partners.
Tyler received a BBA from Texas A&M University and MBA from Auburn University.
Meet Walker Kinney:
Walker Kinney is a partner in our Atlanta office. Originally from the small town of LaGrange, Tennessee, Walker is intimately familiar with the important role family businesses play in their communities and enjoys helping clients form, build, grow, and sell their businesses. He works hard to understand his clients in order to help them achieve their financial goals and protect their family legacies.
Although he advises a diverse client base throughout the Southeast on various corporate and business matters, Walker’s practice focuses on representing founder-led and family-owned businesses in every stage of the mergers and acquisition process.
Walker represents clients across various industries, including professional service, manufacturers, construction, and logistics companies. Walker cultivates close relationships with his clients as well as their existing advisors, accountants, wealth managers and other professionals to achieve the best results for his clients.
