Joshua will share a bit of his story of the journey he has been on. At the high level of implementing EOS at his business a few years ago, the hard decisions that meant in terms of letting key leaders go and rebuilding the foundations of the business, then the big decision to get out of day to day operational roles a year ago when he realized what my "One Thing" was after reading The EOS Life. He will then share that journey with its ups and downs and where he is today.... which is out of all seats except for the Visionary role with time left for my consulting work. It's not perfect, but it's been a wild journey and I think I can help inspire others that it is possible.

One of the critical ‘legs of the stool’ is personal financing planning. Exit planning brings this future mindset into the present. Exit is now.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Joshua started programming at 11 years old and began his freelance web career at 14. His entrepreneurial spirit and years of experience (serving over 750 clients) have led him to become an expert in the fields of web development, digital marketing, and branding. After 10 years in the industry, Joshua founded Rock Paper Simple in 2013 with the vision of building an agency that focused on making a difference in the community, for the companies it served as well as those it employed.
He also serves as a Fractional CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) for a few select clients, is an Executive Producer for Breakthrough (a mental health documentary) and works on independent film projects through Mendx Studios. He recently founded Greater Purpose Ventures as he explores bringing several business concepts together under one roof.
His leadership of the Rock Paper Simple team has helped companies both large and small build marketing-focused websites, expand their digital presence, refine their brand, and create stunning videos. Joshua and Rock Paper Simple have served as a resource for companies such as Health First, Satcom Direct, Long Doggers, Space Coast Daily, Pizza Gallery & Grill, Brevard Health Alliance, The Orlando-Melbourne Regional Airport, Grills Seafood and Sorensen Moving and Storage.
Joshua has been recognized with LEAD Brevard’s “4 under 40” award in 2019 and as one of SCB’s Business Leaders of the Year in 2020. Under his leadership, Rock Paper Simple has also proudly racked up Addy awards every year since its founding including over 70 Addy awards, 5 Judges Choice and a Best of Show. Other awards include GrowFL’s Florida Companies to Watch (2020), A Gold Angel Award (2020), Central Florida Humanitarians (2019), the Business Acceleration Award (2017) and the twice-earned Cocoa Beach Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award (2011 and 2018)
Joshua serves on the board of directors for New Life Mission and Junior Achievement of the Space Coast, spent 7 years on the Founders Forum board of directors (past chair) and is also a past board member of the Space Coast Early Intervention Center (an inclusion school) and AAF Space Coast. Furthermore, he has had the pleasure of sharing from his personal experience and expertise in marketing and entrepreneurship as a guest speaker at the University of Central Florida, Eastern Florida State College, Florida Institute of Technology and Brevard Public Schools.
Personally, he is never satisfied with the status quo and is always working hard to find the simplest, but most effective ways to create results for his clients and ventures. You will frequently hear him say “Ever Forward!”, as he believes the best option is always, always to move forward. He lives to empower talented people and dedicates his work in every endeavor to the glory of God.
He enjoys spending time outside of work travelling or serving the community with his wife, Diana. He is a follower of Jesus Christ, 3rd generation Pittsburgh Steelers fan (he says it’s in his blood at this point!), enjoys cigars and old fashions, loves anything Lord of the Rings or Star Trek related, collects strategy board games (his collection now exceeds 150 board games), and he 3D prints and hand paints tabletop miniatures.
