Tyler Jones is an attorney based out of Seattle. His practice focuses on helping business owners and professionals in all aspects of their business needs. He helps families and closely held businesses structure partnership and other joint ventures, and acquire new businesses. Once established, he assists with all legal matters that arise during a company’s tenure, including lease renewals, real estate acquisitions, space-sharing arrangements, issues with clients/patients, employment questions, partner buy-ins, and partnership dissolution. When his clients are ready to retire, he helps his clients form and implement tax-efficient exit strategies, including sales of the businesses, deferred compensation structures, and other “buy-out” mechanisms.

Meet Lucas Kartic:
Lucas graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2010 and achieved his CPA in 2013. He has been a Turning Point team member since the company’s founding in 2009. Lucas’ specialty is developing and implementing the financial processes that produce accurate and timely information for clients. He helps clients think strategically, using financial data to best advantage, increasing profit and managing cash flow. He has been a part of multiple mergers and acquisitions, assisting clients on both the buy and sell sides, evaluating financial and operation structures. Lucas is currently President, Managing Partner at Turning Point Strategic Advisors the leading financial transformation consulting firm in the Northwest.
Meet Alan Chaffee, CEO & Founder of Turning Point:
Alan Chaffee is the CEO and Founder of Turning Point. He has 25 years of extensive experience in financial accounting, business consulting, company valuations, and corporate restructuring. He has focused the last 25 years helping companies from a diversity of industries—media to manufacturing and in-between—use financial information to drive operational improvements, manage cash flow, and increase profitability. As Turning Point’s CEO, Alan has performed CFO duties for over 500 middle market companies, with revenues ranging from $2M to $150M annually. He continues to provide CEO coaching, with notable success.
Under Alan’s guidance, Turning Point has grown to become the Northwest’s leading CFO consulting practice, providing solutions-based advice, and designing and implementing the financial processes that help companies make the most of their financial information. Turning Point also leads in mergers and acquisition involvement, on both the buy and sell sides, and has closed multiple transactions in the 7-figure and 8-figure arena.
Prior to founding Turning Point, Alan was Managing Partner for a Seattle-based CPA firm. He also has more than 30 years of experience in senior executive roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and President. He currently sits on two Boards of Directors.
Away from the office, Alan runs marathons, reads voraciously, and boasts to anyone who will listen about his three four great kids. He and his family live in Bellevue.
