Meet Jake Rapp:
Jake is a Managing Director in the Chicago office of Kroll and part of the M&A Advisory business unit. Having been with Kroll since 2010, he is a leader of the firm’s Business Services M&A practice.
Within the Business Services practice, Jake primarily works with family-owned businesses and private equity clients, focusing on sell-side M&A and capital raise transactions. He has assisted with the sale or recapitalization of 40+ middle market businesses during his investment banking career, transacting more than $1 billion of enterprise value. Jake’s engagement experience includes sale transactions across diversified business services sectors, including digital media and marketing, education and training, human capital management, and other specialty professional services.
Jake earned his M.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his B.S. in Finance from Webster University. He is a CFA Charterholder. He is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered representative, holding the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 licenses. He is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, and the Association for Corporate Growth.

Jeff currently serves as a Principal of Prairie Capital. Prior to Prairie, Jeff was an Investment Banking Associate at Duff & Phelps Securities, where he worked across various industries, focusing on mergers and acquisitions advisory services and debt and equity financings.
