ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Meet Trevor Hill:
Trevor Hill is currently a Managing Director at ACT Capital Advisors. Over the course of his investment banking career, he has advised clients in a number of industry segments, including manufacturing and distribution, consumer products, technology and heavy construction. He has successfully advised on over 25 sell-side, recapitalization and debt restructuring transactions.
Prior to joining ACT, he was the Chief Operations Officer for over ten years at Members Insurance, Inc., a financial services firm focused on risk management advisory for banks and credit unions. Trevor earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and holds an MBA from the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University, with certificates in Finance and Investments.
Trevor currently lives in Edmonds with his wife, Erika, and their two children, Ford and Eden. On the weekends, you will most often find him spending time with his family, working on his handicap, or out on the water.
Meet Robert Hild:
Mr. Hild, Chairman and CEO of ACT Capital Advisors, brings over 25 years of experience in the private equity sector. Prior to joining ACT, Mr. Hild co-founded Invest West Capital, LLC, a West Coast oriented private equity firm focused on mid-market acquisitions. During his tenure with IWC, he served as CEO of five portfolio companies and conducted over 20 mergers, acquisitions, and sales, representing in aggregate more than $200MM in transaction value.
His senior management leadership experience includes light manufacturing, food processing, retail store fixture and durable medical products manufacturing, industrial recycling, critical power, and legal support services. Previously, Bob was a senior manager of Corporate Finance for Ernst and Young, providing advisory services to both buyers and sellers of mid-market companies.
Mr. Hild is a graduate of Brigham Young University’s School of Accountancy, received an MBA from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University, and completed Stanford University’s executive leadership program.
Meet Evan Fisher:
Evan is a Managing Director with the Rainier Group, advising middle market companies on how to position and ultimately transition the ownership of their business. Being a trusted advisor to business owners working to achieve their goals is the driving factor in Evan’s role.
Evan has worked with companies across a wide range of industries, including food & beverage, business services, manufacturing, distribution, and technology, advising on sell-side and buy-side transactions, pre-transition growth strategies, recapitalizations, and management buyouts.
A graduate of Washington State University with a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, he also received his MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington (and if you’re wondering, he pulls for the Cougs come Apple Cup).
A West Coast native his whole life, living in both Southern California and Washington, Evan now enjoys everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, golfing, traveling, and being involved in the community.
Meet David Roberts:
David brings clarity to complex issues. He leads Rainier Group’s business consulting efforts throughout the country, working with Rainier’s clients and managing relationships with its strategic business partners. David forges and maintains links with professionals who serve private companies, their owners, and board members. David has assisted business owners plan and implement ownership and management transitions with The Rainier Group since 1988.
David leads Rainier’s work with national and regional financial institutions. Over the years, David and Rainier have and continue to partner with several Fortune 1000 companies to bring Rainier’s unique business advice to their top private clients.
David serves on Rainier Group’s executive management team that directs all aspects and strategy for the company’s business operations.
Honing his skills as a professional engineer, in project management for an international electrical system manufacturer, and training at one of the nation’s top business schools, David’s has specific expertise related to business consulting, specifically ownership and management transition and corporate governance, for privately held companies. He also brings great insight and expertise to the personal financial and estate issues important to private company owners as they contemplate changing their relationship with their businesses.
David’s formal training includes a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and an M.B.A from the University of Washington.
David serves as a director on numerous boards for both profit and charitable organizations.
