Process documentation is a much needed and often overlooked opportunity to add operating efficiency and value to any organization. “Where to start” and “No time” are the most often cited reasons for neglecting this important tool. Well documented processes should be viewed as an asset to be utilized by the people of the business to create efficiency and communicate knowledge from person to person and department to department. Delta Business Strategies specializes in helping business owners capture their processes in easy-to-use and understand documentation. Capturing and documenting this knowledge is not difficult, however it is time consuming and requires attention to detail and the ability to extract the process steps from the people that do this work. However, once documented the information is a tangible asset that will add value and peace of mind to the new owners.
