AMANDA BAR
Most business owners don't struggle because they lack information. They struggle because they're making some of the biggest decisions of their lives while navigating competing advice, changing priorities, and an uncertain future.
Am I paying more in taxes than I need to? Am I saving enough for retirement? What happens if something happens to me? And after years of building all of this—what do I actually want next?
Those questions rarely exist in isolation.
A tax decision can affect retirement. A retirement decision can change a family's financial future. And sometimes the decision that looks financial on the surface is really about freedom, family, identity, or what someone wants life to look like next.
That's the work I love.
I help business owners and individuals see the whole picture, connect decisions often being made separately, and prepare today so they have more options tomorrow.
My role isn't to have every answer. It's to ask better questions, see connections that may have been missed, bring the right people and strategies together, and help turn good ideas into action.
Today, my work spans three complementary companies: RTB Tax Advisors for tax preparation, tax planning, and tax mitigation strategies, RTB Advisors for business and individual risk management and retirement plan strategies—with particular expertise in pensions, and RTB Wealth Advisors, an independent RIA helping clients align the wealth they're building with the life they're building it for.
I work alongside clients' accountants, attorneys, and other professionals to help make sure the pieces connect and someone is helping move everything forward.
But years of these conversations have taught me something:
Not every decision is really about the business or the money.
You can build a successful company, accumulate wealth, do everything you thought you were supposed to do—and still wonder, Now what?
That realization led me to create La Via Lucia, a space to pause, see beyond what's immediately in front of us, reconnect with what matters most, and find, live, and share our path through conversation, reflection, and equine-facilitated experiences.
I believe people matter beyond what they earn, own, build, or accomplish. Difficult seasons don't define us, and there are often more possibilities available than we can see when we're standing in the middle of the problem.
Sometimes we just need to pause long enough to see them.
Prepare today. Create options for tomorrow. Reconnect to what matters most.
