Kevin Koster is the founder and President of Skopós, a brand refining and value-building practice based in Kansas City.
A 40-year marketing veteran known for helping small and mid-sized business clients achieve tens of millions in annual growth, Kevin believes that real brand is built from the inside out starting with purpose (skopós) and people; not from the outside in with logos and websites. Kevin is one of only a few advisers to be a CEPA and a Certified Value Builder with the Value Builder System®. Additionally, Kevin developed the NEXiT® system in 2016. NEXiT® is a step-by-step process that improves sales and brand strategy while growing the sales multiple through improved performance in the four marketing-related and other key drivers of business value.
Kevin has presented workshops for Global Entrepreneurship Week, the annual Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program (HEMP) Retreat, the NetStandard Small Business Luncheon Series, and Accelerent Kansas City. He has also provided seminars for Bank of Blue Valley, Holy Rosary Credit Union, Central Bank, and WaterFront Wealth. He has served on the boards of Holy Rosary Credit Union, Sleepyhead Beds, CORE, and the Kansas City Club, is a contributor on the American Cities Business Journals Leadership Panel, and was recognized by Pitch Magazine as their 2013 Best Blogger.
