As a member of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, Rik was selected and honored as the Business Person of the Year in 2010. Rik is an avid reader and has a curiosity and hunger for learning. Rik wrote/taught curriculum as a volunteer instructor for the OLLI program (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) for five years at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Dayton. Past host of "Straight Talk-Clear Decisions”, Rik shared financial insights on a weekly basis with listeners on the internet and radio, enlightening them to make better financial decisions.
Since 2002 Rik and Kim have been a blended family of 5 children and 3 grandchildren so far… Rik loves the outdoors whether it’s golfing, biking, motorcycling or boating. At their lake house, Rik relaxes and listens to music or reads a book when he’s not working on a project or hanging out with neighbors. He loves having his family and friends out to their lake house whenever possible as they love to host concerts, parties, and fun. When it comes to life, Rik loves to win but most importantly must compete for the fun of it.
