SCOTT HOLMAN
Scott Holman has worked in personal finance since 2005 and became a licensed financial advisor in 2007. As a Wealth Strategist with Ironwood Family Wealth Advisors, he helps successful business owners, professionals, and retirees bring clarity and coordination to their financial lives.
Scott is particularly passionate about working with business owners. He helps them connect their business and personal finances, strengthen enterprise value, prepare for succession or an eventual sale, and turn years of hard work into lasting multigenerational wealth. He also works closely with clients’ tax professionals, attorneys, and other trusted advisors to coordinate investment, retirement, estate, risk-management, and business-planning strategies.
Scott believes his greatest value is understanding what matters most to each client and creating a clear framework for the decisions ahead. His approach is personal, proactive, and built around long-term relationships—not one-size-fits-all solutions.
He holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations and life insurance licenses. Scott has also earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designations.
Personal
Scott is a graduate of Arizona State University and an active member of the ASU Alumni Association. He volunteers with Make-A-Wish Arizona and has previously served on the board of the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and as vice president of BNI Scottsdale Trailblazers.
Scott is a proud father to his two sons, Colton and Emmett. He enjoys spending time with his family, supporting youth activities, and remaining involved in the Scottsdale community.
Most financial advisors start with your money. We start with your life.
At our Edward Jones office in Cave Creek/Scottsdale, we help successful business owners and retirees turn decades of hard work into clear, coordinated plans for what comes next. That means aligning your investments, tax strategy, exit planning and retirement income into one cohesive strategy — so you’re not just hoping things work out, you know they will. Whether you’re preparing to sell a business, reduce taxes in retirement or create reliable income without sacrificing growth, we bring structure and clarity to decisions that can feel overwhelming.
With professional designations including AAMS® and CEPA®, I focus in helping you navigate complex financial transitions — especially business exits and retirement planning — while working closely with your CPA and attorney to ensure every piece of your financial life is aligned. Just as important, I’m deeply rooted in this community. As a graduate of Arizona State University and an active member of the ASU Alumni Association, I stay connected to local leaders and initiatives. I’ve served as a board member for the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and as vice president of BNI Scottsdale Trailblazers, and I remain actively involved in youth sports and local organizations alongside my two sons. That local involvement means I don’t just work here — I’m invested here and in the people I serve.
Our office is built on real relationships, not transactions. I take pride in being accessible, responsive and genuinely committed to your success. If you’re within five to 10 years of retirement, currently retired or considering the sale of your business, now is the time to get a second opinion and a clear strategy. Call our office today to schedule a no-obligation consultation. We’ll help you uncover opportunities, avoid costly mistakes and move forward with confidence.
